Details of the Motorbike Crash
According to the Washington Township Police Department, the incident happened just before 3:15 p.m. on a Monday. The police arrived to find a 15-year-old had suffered injuries in the accident on Ganttown Road in The Clusters development.
When officials arrived, they found the teen using a gas-powered motorbike. A nearby friend was operating an e-scooter. Both were traveling eastbound on the roadway towards Route 42 at the time of the incident.
Police say they were riding along when they entered the path of a car turning into The Clusters. The rider of the motorbike struck the vehicle. The rider was taken to an area hospital and, later, police reported they suffered a fractured wrist. Luckily, the teen was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which likely reduced the severity of injuries significantly, according to reports.
