Several Injured in Trolley Accident

Officials are investigating what happened in Norristown after a SEPTA trolley crashed into a bumper at the end of the tracks at the transit system, causing several people to suffer injuries.

Reports indicate that, on a Sunday morning, a SEPTA trolley on the Norristown High Speed Line struck the bumper at the end of the track, causing eight people to suffer injuries. The trolley’s operator was one of the people hurt in the incident. One person had to be airlifted to the hospital with neck and head injuries. Other injuries were reportedly minor.
