About the Royersford Accident

The accident occurred in the afternoon on Tuesday, March 5th, on Main Street in Royersford. It led to major traffic delays as the street was closed for hours to allow for an investigation and removal of the vehicles.

Police noted that the car crash happened close to the Main Street intersection with 5th Avenue. Officers also said that it was drizzling and low visibility might have contributed to the crash, which was a head-on collision.

EMS personnel transported one person to Reading Hospital as a result of the crash. Police said that the person was transported for precautionary reasons but did not state their condition. The street and intersection were reopened in time for schools to dismiss.

Assistance at the scene was provided by the Royersford Police Department, Liberty Fire Company, and Royersford Fire and EMS agencies.
