Car Accidents Can Cause Many Types of Injuries
Car accident injuries often seem like trauma-related matters. That includes broken bones, head trauma, and lacerations. However, a car accident can cause a medical emergency in numerous other ways as well. For example, the stress and physical strain from an accident can cause a person with preexisting conditions or underlying medical concerns to suffer a heart attack. Severe anxiety attacks or an impact on the lungs can also limit breathing quality. There are times when accidents like this can also lead to strokes or other serious ailments requiring immediate care.
