Two Seriously Injured in Chadds Ford Wreck

A serious car accident occurred recently on Baltimore Pike in Chadds Ford, according to state police. Police responded to the scene of the accident around 11:45 a.m. on a Saturday morning. That is where they found two drivers with significant injuries.

The accident, which took place at the intersection of Webb Road and Baltimore Pike, involved a 2023 Toyota 4-Runner. That driver was driving southbound in the left lane. The 4-Runner collided with a 2009 Toyota Camry while the Camry was turning onto Webb Road. The force of the accident caused both vehicles to come to a stop, facing north, in the southbound lanes.

It is unclear what the injuries were, but state troopers said both drivers suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to Paoli Hospital for care. Call Kwartler Manus to speak with a Delaware County car accident lawyer.

Intersection and Turning Accidents

In most situations, a driver turning must yield the right-of-way to a driver traveling straight unless a traffic light or stop sign is present. If a driver turning left failed to ensure they had enough room to make the turn, they could be at fault.

In some cases, the driver traveling straight could be at fault. That might happen, for example, if that driver was speeding or otherwise violating the law at the time of the accident.
