The crash happened in the northbound lanes just past the exit for Street Road. According to authorities, a Ford Fusion lost control, struck a barrier, and then collided with two other vehicles. The driver of the Fusion, a 65-year-old man from Levittown, was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
There was no word on any injuries to the occupants of the other vehicles, and the victim’s name has not yet been released. Police have not stated what caused the Fusion to lose control.
