What to Do After an Accident During Rush Hour Traffic

Victims involved in an accident during rush hour traffic often face challenges. Right after the accident, your priority should be to move yourself out of further harm’s way, if you can do so, and then call 911 for immediate help. Do not leave the scene of the accident, even if you think there is no damage or injuries.

Then, take photos of the location, if it is safe to do so, as well as any damage to your vehicle and that of the other party. It is crucial to gather the names and contact information of all individuals involved and any witnesses who observed the incident. Not everyone on their way to work will stop, but those who do can prove to be a critical resource. Then, get medical help.
