What Led to the Limerick Township Fatal Road Rage Crash?
According to the report from Fox29, the accident occurred on Sunday, June 29th. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of Route 422. Witnesses and authorities said that a Volvo veered into the right lane of the highway and then brake-checked a Chevy.
The Chevy rear-ended the Volvo, sending the Volvo off the side of the road and into a tree. The driver of the Volvo had to be extricated from the car and taken to Pottstown Hospital. The Volvo driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
In an odd twist, the driver of the Chevy was arrested for suspicion of DUI in the crash even though they were the vehicle that was brake-checked.
